Crochet Pirate Applique Set ... swords, hooks, spyglass, maps and more!

The Pirate Applique Set
I made this pattern set for my youngest son because he is in love with pirates. I have been making him a blanket he insisted on having because his older brother has one so why not. I'm almost finished with it when he informs me it needs to be a yo-ho blanket (pirate blanket)! I was not about to frog or start a new blanket as I am so close to completing it, so I came up with all these little appliques to put on it, and I am very happy with they way they came out! Hope you enjoy them as much as my son and happy hooking!

Crochet Aizen The Kitty Applique

Aizen the Kitty Applique
I made this little kitty applique after my not so little kitty (anymore) Aizen. I figured I make so much for my chihuahuas that my kitty deserved something too, but unlike my chihuahuas he hates sweaters. He hates them so much the one time I did try and put him in one he kept falling over and refused to walk, stand up, or just plain would not move at all. So needless to say it lasted maybe 2 minuets. No sweaters for my kitty. I thought this applique was a great idea and I could just sew it on to one of the blankets he loves so much. Next time maybe ill try making him a stuffy he likes those too.
So this pattern using a G hook and caron simply soft makes a great small soft applique you can sew on to anything. Really anything hats, mittens, scarfs, blankets, and so many more. The sky is really the limit with this cute applique. Hope you enjoy!

So I wanted something soft but thick enuf it would be cozy and wouldn’t let the ends/sides of the seat belt rub you anyway, and caron simpy soft yarn and my layered spk st square pattern was just the right combo, so I altered it for what I wanted so here it is hope you all like it!
