row 3: [dc 2 in next st, 1 dc in next st] around (30dc)
row 4: [dc 2 in next st, 1 dc in next 2 sts] around (40dc) (now if only making a hat to fit 0-3m skip to row 8)

row 7: [dc 2 in next st, 1 dc in next 5 sts] around (70dc) (this makes 2year/2t hat)
row 8: dc in each st around until hat is at desired length the hdc in next st sc in next st and sl st in last st tie off

To Make Bangs
For "bangs" cut 24 pices of yarn and make sure they are the length you want them to be when folded over in half
Insert Hook into same st as slst/tie off loop at center of yarn/hair piece pull through and make a square knot and then tie into a knot for tight hold do this in 12 sts 2 pieces of yarn in each st across edge of hat trim up if needed after all "bangs" are in

To Make Crimpys
Ch 23
Dc in 4th ch from hook (first 3 chs counts as dc), dc in next st, dc 1 ch 1 dc 1all in the next st for your first dci,
dc in the next 2 sts, dcd across the next 3 sts ( start a dc in the in the next st only pulling threw the first 2 loops leaving 2 loops on hook yo skip one ch start a dc in next ch only going threw the first 2 loops leaving 3 loops on your hook yo and pull threw all 3 loops) repeat the dci and the dcd’s until the last 4 chs and dc in last 4 tie off leaving long tail to sew into hat. Make 12

now after you have all your crimpys made take your hat and use st markers to mark where you want your “crimpy pig tails” and sew them in after sewed in tie bows around crimpys and all done J Happy Crocheting
