To
Make “golden locks”
You
will make 2 at a time and we will make 5 sets of locks
Ch 23
dc in 4th ch from hook (1st 3 ch count as dc), dc 4 times
in each ch all the way down after you
get the whole ch with 4dc in each ch 23 again, dc in the 4th ch from
hook (1st 3 ch count as dc) and dc 4 times in each ch until you get
to the ch in the last ch dc 2 times hdc 1 time and sc 1 time, the sc in top of
the other lock and sl st in the st after that tie off
To
Make Hat
row1:
Make a magic loop/circle ch 3 (counts as first dc) and dc into magice
loop/circle 9 times for a total of 10 dc
row 2: going in a round not join dc 2 into each st around (20dc)
row 3: [dc 2 in next st, 1 dc in next st] around (30dc)
row 4: [dc 2 in next st, 1 dc in next 2 sts] around (40dc) (now if only making a hat to fit 0-3m skip to row 8)
row 5: [dc 2 in next st, 1dc in next 3 sts] around (50dc) (skip to row 8 for 6m hat)
row 6: [dc 2 in next st, 1 dc in next 4 sts] around (60dc) (skip to row 8 for 12m hat)
row 7: [dc 2 in next st, 1 dc in next 5 sts] around (70dc) (this makes 2year/2t hat)
row 8: dc in each st around until hat is at desired length the hdc in next st sc in next st and sl st in last do not tie off. Take each “hair” piece and place it on the inside of the hat and using the blue yarn to sl st it into place 3 sl st for each piece of “hair” until they are all on tie off weave in ends.
