Top working from Bottom

1. ch 35, join in 1^st ch, ch 1, 1 sc in each st around, join in 1^st sc (35sc)
2. ch 4 (will make button hole does not count as 1^st st), 1 dc in each st around (35dc)
3. ch 2, dc dec across 1^st 2 sts, 1 dc in each st across, turn (34dc)
4. ch 4, dc dec across 1^st 2 sts, 1 dc in each st across, turn (33dc)
5. ch 2, dc dec across 1^st 2 sts, 1 dc in each st across, turn (32dc)
6. ch 4, dc dec across 1^st 2 sts, 1 dc in each st across, turn (31dc)
7. ch 2, dc dec across 1^st 2 sts, 1 dc in each st across, ch 4 sl st into bottom of last dc, tie off (30dc)

Neck Strap

find the middle of the front top of the dress and attach yarn

1. ch 20, sl st in 6^th ch from hook, sl st down remaining 14 chs, 1 sl st into same st of top of dress we attached in, tie off

Ruffles

attach yarn to 1^st ch of beginning ch at bottom of dress

1. ch 2, 2 dc in 1^st st [1 dc in next st, 2 dc in next] repeat around, join in 1^st dc (53dc)
2. ch 2, 2 dc in 1^st st [1 dc in next st, 2 dc in next] repeat around, join in 1^st dc (80dc)
3. ch 8, sl st in same st, [ch 8, sl st in next st] repeat around, tie off (80 ch 8 loops)

Now sew in all ends, sew one button to middle front top of dress for the neck strap and sew 4 buttons down the back opposite side of the button holes Now you have a pretty summer ruffle dress for your LaLa Loopsy enjoy :)
