Spiderweb
Vest
I made this because I know I will be needing some sort
of costume for my youngest child’s Halloween party at preschool,
and it cant be scary or to warm as it get really hot in their
classroom. So I came up with the spiderweb vest. Made mostly with
chains its easy fast and light weight its perfect. Would be extra
cute if you added a few plastic or crocheted spiders to the back of
it to really make it pop, but I went with simple for now. Hope you
like it and Happy early Halloween!

- In web when it says treble crochet in treble crochet don't just crochet into the regular two loops on the top of the stitch, actually crochet in the top of the treble crochet itself. Some refer to this as crocheting into the eye of the stitch. If you do not crochet into the eye of the stitch it will not come out straight, I hope the pictures provided below help

BEAUTIFUL! I love it!! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI really like it. Thank you for the pattern.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a pretty pattern! I love it! I haven't actually made a circular jacket pattern but I definitely want to try this one. I was also thinking for Halloween since this has a spiderweb back to it...make it in black and wear a white or off-white garment (shirt, pants or dress), put on some Halloween make up and you have a costume. I love the gray yarn and this would be pretty in burgundy or green or any color. Thank you very much! :)

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your patterns! I'm working on sprucing up my wardrobe to better suit my personality/je ne sais quoi, and this vest was a perfect start! I'm thinking of pairing it with black tights, a plain black top, my boots, and your Crochet Lestat Inspired Lacy Boot Cuffs... ANYwhoo... :P Again, thank you sooo much for your work!
