LaLa Loopsy Shawl/Capelet, Purse & Shoes


Abbreviations/Need to Know
ch- chain
sc- single crochet
st(s)- stitch(s)
sp(s)- space(s)
dc- double crochet
sl st- slip stitch
hdc- half double crochet

Shawl/Capelet
  1. ch 26, sc in 7th ch from hook, sc in each st across, turn (20 sc)(extra room left by ch = button hole)
  2. ch 1, 2 hdc in 1st st, 1 hdc in next st, [2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in next st] repeat across , turn (30 hdc)
  3. ch 6 (counts as 1st trc & ch 2 sp), trc in next st, [ch 2, trc in next st] repeat across, tie off, (30 trc & 29 ch 2 sps) sew in all ends and sew a button on to opposite side of button hole and your shawl/caplet is ready for your LaLa Loopsy!

Purse
  1. ch 11, hdc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in each st across, turn (10hdc)
  2. ch 1, hdc in each st across, turn (10 hdc)
  3. repeat 2
  4. repeat 2
  5. repeat 2
  6. repeat 2
  7. repeat 2
  8. repeat 2, fold work in half mark middle with stitch marker this will show were to refold latter for sewing sides together
  9. now making purse flap, ch 1, sc in each st across, turn (10 sc) mark 1st sc with stitch marker this will show were to connect when making the strap
  10. ch 1, sc in each st across, turn (10 sc)
  11. ch 1, sc dec across 1st 2 sts, sc in each of the next 6 sts, sc dec across last 2 sts, turn (8 sc)
  12. ch 1, sc dec across 1st 2 sts, sc in each of the next 4 sts, sc dec across last 2 sts, turn (6 sc)
  13. ch 1, sc dec across 1st 2 sts, sc in each of the next 2 sts, sc dec across last 2 sts, turn (4 sc)
  14. ch 1, sc dec across 1st 2 sts, sc dec across last 2 sts, turn (2 sc)
  15. ch 1, sc dec across only 2 sts, tie off (1 sc) fold purse by marker and sew sides together, now for strap connect yarn in 1st sc of 1st sc row were we placed the marker earlier and ch 15, now sl st in opposite sc (last sc) of that row, tie off and sew in all your ends and your purse is finished!

Shoes

  1. working in rounds,make a magic circle, ch 1, sc 6 times into magic circle, pull tight or alternative round 1 is ch 2, sc in 2nd ch fom hook 6 times (6 sc)
  2. 2 sc in each st around (12 sc)
  3. 1 sc in each st around (12 sc)
  4. repeat 3
  5. now working in rows sl st in 1st st, ch 1, sc in same st as sl st, sc in each of the next 3 sts, turn (4 sc)
  6. ch 1, sc in each st across, turn (4 sc)
  7. repeat 6
  8. work this row in back loops only, ch 1, sc in each st across, turn (4 sc)
  9. ch 1, sc in each st across, turn (4sc)
  10. going back to working in rounds ch 1, sc in each st across, ch 5, join in 1st sc tie off sew in all ends now shoes are ready to be slipped onto your LaLa Loopsy!

you will need a G-hook
Use Red Heart Sparkle yarn or Caron Simply Soft






















Shrug/Bolero



  1. make a magic circle, dc 14 times inside magic circle, pull tight, join in 1st dc (14dc), Or ch 3 dc in 3rd ch from hook 14 times, join in 1st dc (14dc)
  2. ch 4 (counts as 1st dc and ch 2 sp), 1 dc in same st (1st vst made), sk next st, [vst in next st, sk next st] repeat around, join in 2nd ch of 1st ch 4, turn (7 vsts)
  3. ch 4 (counts as 1st dc and ch 2 sp), 1 dc between 1st 2 dc of previous row (1st vst made), vst in the next vst of previous row, [vst between next 2 dc, vst in next vst] repeat around, join in the 2nd ch of the 1st ch 4, turn (14 vsts)
  4. ch 4 (counts as 1st dc and ch 2 sp), 1 dc between 1st 2 dc of previous row (1st vst made), vst in next vst of previous row, vst between next 2 dc, vst in next vst, ch 5, sk next sp between dc's and next vst, [vst between next 2 dc, vst in next vst] repeat 9 more times, ch 5, join  in 2nd ch of 1st ch 4, turn (24 vsts, 2 ch 5sps)
  5. ch 4 (counts as 1st dc and ch 2 sp), 1 dc around ch 5 sp (1st vst made), vst around same ch 5 sp, vst in each vst around until next ch 5 sp, 2 vsts around ch 5 sp, vst in each of the last 4 vsts, join in 2nd ch of 1st ch 4 (28 vst)
  6. sl st over to middle of ch sp of 1st vst, ch 4 (counts as 1st vst and ch 2 sp), 1 dc in same sp (1st vst made), vst in each vst around, join in 2nd ch of 1st ch 4, tie off sew in ends (28 vts)














Purse

  1. make a magic circle, dc 15 times inside magic circle, pull tight, join in 1st dc (15 dc), Or ch 3, dc 15 times in 3rd ch from hook, join in 1st dc (15 dc)
  2. ch 2, 2 dc in each st around, join in 1st dc (30 dc)
  3. ch 2, 1 dc in each st around, join in 1st dc (30 dc)
  4. repeat 3
  5. ch 10, sk 5 sts, sl st in 6th st, sl st in next 9 sts, ch 10, sk 5 sts, sl st in last 10 sts, tie off  sew in ends (2 ch 5 sps, 30 sl sts)
