Casino Wallet for Purse or Belt

Casino Wallet

Don't wanna carry around a big purse or bag when going out to some place like the casino, bar, fair or even the library, but don't feel your pockets alone are safe enough ? Then this is the little wallet for you ! With the option to put straps on it so your belt keeps it secure at your side you can easily take any cards or cash with you any where !

Need/Need to Know
  • H hook
  • Red Heart w/Love in 2 colors, color A and color B
  • my colors were dark blue A and white B
  • needle to sew in ends
  • button
  • ( ) holds # of stitches and needed info
  • [ ] repeat whats inside

Gauge
in single crochet 8 stitches x 8 row = 2 inches

Abbreviations
ch – chain
st(s) – stitch(s)
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
bl – back loop
sc dec – single crochet decrease
dc – double crochet

Wallet
  1. in color A, ch 17, sc in 2nd ch from hook and each st across, turn (16sc)
  2. ch 1 (does not count as sc), 1 sc in each st across, turn (16sc)
  3. repeat 2
  4. repeat 2
  5. repeat 2
  6. repeat 2
  7. repeat 2
  8. repeat 2
  9. repeat 2
  10. repeat 2
  11. repeat 2, tie off
  12. with color B connect in same st we tied off in, and sl st down the side of each sc for a total of 10 sl st
  1. turn work to bottom, and sl st across each st (16 sl st)
  1. turn work to other side, and sl st in each st across for a total of 10 sl st
  1. now we are going to work the 3 sides we sl st'ed as one, turn, ch 1 (does not count as sc), 1 sc in each of the next 10 sl st's, ch 1, 1 sc in each of the next 16 sl st's, ch 1, 1 sc in each of the next 10 sl st's, tie off (2 ch sp's, & 36 sc)
  1. join in bl of bottom right corner ignoring ch 1 sp, ch 1 (does not count as sc), working this row all in bl only, 1 sc in each of the next 16 sts, sl st to 1st sc in side, turn (16sc)
  2. ch 1 (does not count as sc), 1 sc in each st across, sk 1st side sc and sl st into next, turn (16sc)
  3. repeat 17

  9. ch 1 (does not count as sc), 1 sc in each st across, turn (16sc)

  12. ch 1 (does not count as sc), sc dec across 1st 2 sts, 1 sc in each st across until next last 2 sts, sc dec across last 2 sts, turn
  13. repeat row 27 until there are only 4 sts left
  14. ch 1 (does not count as sc), sc dec across next 2 sts, sc dec across last 2 sts, turn
  15. ch 5, sl st int last st (button hole made), tie off
  • if you just want it for your purse sew in your ends and your done! If you want to make it to fit on your belt continue on

Straps 4 Belt – make 2
  1. ch 10, dc in 3rd ch from hook and each st across, turn (8dc)
  2. ch 1 (does not count as sc), 1 sc in each st across, tie off (8sc)
  • sew the 2 straps to opposite sides of back of card wallet (placement shown in bottom picture)
  • sew in ends and done!
