  • using and color yarn you want, pinch middle of the plaid rectangle you just made together and wrap a good amount of yarn tightly around it to make the middle of the bow, use sewing needle to weave/sew end in
Collar Loop
  1. ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hook, and each st across, turn (4sc)
  2. ch 1 (does not count as sc), 1 sc in each st across, turn (4sc)
  • ½ inch collar widths repeat row 2, 3 more times

Bowties Are Cool
This Doctor Who Inspired Pattern is for large dogs. Its simple and fast. Great stash scrap buster, and what Whovian fur parent wouldn't want their pup looking as snazzy as the Doctor !

Will Need/Need to Know
  • H-hook
  • Red Heart with Love in blue, white, red and a tiny bit of black
  • needle to sew in ends
  • ( ) holds number of stitches and needed info
  • [ ] repeat whats inside
  • do NOT turn unless told to do so in pattern
  • sizes are XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL and appear in pattern as such
  • measurements are approximately 18, 20, 22, 24, 26 inches around
  • Note my sizes may differ then store bought items please measure around your pups head or neck whatever is bigger to determine size

Fringe Reflect Cowl 4 Pup + size


Fringe Reflect Cowl 4 Pup + sized
Need/Need to Know
  • N-Hook
  • Red Heart Reflective yarn 1 skein
  • Needle to sew in ends
  • ( ) holds number of stitches or need to know info
  • [ ] repeat whats inside
  • Sizes are XL, (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL) and appear in pattern as such
  • Size measurements are ruffly 18( 20, 22, 24, 26 inches)
  • My sizes my differ then store bought items
  • Please measure around your pups head to insure fit

Abbreviations
ch – chain

Cowl
  1. ch 32(38,44,50,56), join in 1st ch, ch 2 (does not count as dc), 1 dc in each st around, join to 1st dc (22,26,30,36,40 dc)
  2. ch 2 (does not count as dc), [dc between next 2 dc] repeat around, join to 1st dc (32,38,44,50,56 dc)
  3. repeat row 2
  • repeat row 2 until desired length

Fringe
  • pick what ever side you want to be the bottom this is where we will start the fringe
  • we are going to make the fringe by putting little tassels between each dc
  • we will be putting the tassels on by using a square knot or latch hook technique
  • pick the length of what you want for your fringe and double it, that is how long you want to cut you piece of fringe/tassel , cut as many as you need all the same length, 1 for between each dc

  1. take one piece of already cut yarn, fold it in half, insert your hook between two dc, grab yarn with hook, pull through but not all the way, grab the two ends with hook and pull through loop, pull tight
  2. repeat that until each piece of yarn is in place
  3. now because this is for our pets we want to secure the fringe tightly, so we are going to go around and tie a knot in each tassel/piece of fringe
  • now sew in your one ends at the top and trim the one on the bottom to match the rest of the fringe and your done!
