Caron Simply Soft Yarn

Abbreviations 

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet

ch- chain
hdc- half double crochet

sl st- slip stitch

[ ]- repeat whats inside

Body & Tail

1. make magic circle, make 15 dc into magic circle, join in 1st dc (15dc)
2. ch 1, 1 sc in 1st st, 2 sc in next st, [1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st] repeat 5 more times, 1 sc in last st, join in 1st sc (22sc)
3. ch 1, 2 sc in 1st 2 sts, 1 sc in each of the next 7 sts, 2 sc in each of the next 4 sts, 1 sc in each of the next 7 sts, 2 sc in each of the last 2 sts, join in 1st sc (30 sc)
4. ch 1, 1 sc in 1st st, 2 sc in next st, [1 sx in next st, 2 sc in next] repeat 17 more times, join in 1st sc (57 sc), ch 8, sl st in 7th ch from hook, ch 3 more, tie off

Nose

1. ch 4, 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 2 sc in next st, 2 sc in last st, continuing around, 2 sc in each of the 3 sts again on opposite side, tie off, sew onto piggy and using black yarn embroider/sew on his eyes and nose holes

Ears

1. using your best judgment pick out where you would like your ears and connect you yarn, ch 3, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next st, sl st back into piggy's head  do this for both ears
