Spiderweb Vest - Free Pattern

Spiderweb Vest
I made this because I know I will be needing some sort of costume for my youngest child’s Halloween party at preschool, and it cant be scary or to warm as it get really hot in their classroom. So I came up with the spiderweb vest. Made mostly with chains its easy fast and light weight its perfect. Would be extra cute if you added a few plastic or crocheted spiders to the back of it to really make it pop, but I went with simple for now. Hope you like it and Happy early Halloween!

Need/Need to Know
  • H hook
  • red heart super saver yarn white & gray
  • needle to sew in ends
  • 1st chains count as 1st stitch until color change then they do not
  • do not turn unless stated
  • one size fits most this vest has a lot of give
  • In web when it says treble crochet in treble crochet don't just crochet into the regular two loops on the top of the stitch, actually crochet in the top of the treble crochet itself. Some refer to this as crocheting into the eye of the stitch. If you do not crochet into the eye of the stitch it will not come out straight, I hope the pictures provided below help
