Crochet 10 min Door Shusher/cozy

10 Minute Door Shusher/Cozy
I made this because a friend of mine just recently had a baby, and asked for me to make her something that would make the other small children unable to slam the baby's door. So I went to work immediately, and came up with this fast little beauty. Hope you enjoy.

Will Need/Need to Know
  • G hook
  • caron simply soft yarn
  • 2 pony tails
  • needle to sew in ends and to pony tails
  • 1st chain does not count as 1st stitch

Abbreviations
ch- chain
sc- single crochet
hdc- half double crochet

Shusher/Cozy
  1. leave a long tail, ch 9, hdc in 2nd ch from hook, and each st across, turn (8hdc)
  2. ch 1, 1 sc in each st across, turn (8sc)
  3. ch 1, 1 hdc in each st across, turn (8hdc)
  4. ch 1, 1 sc in each st across, turn (8sc)
  5. ch 1, 1 hdc in each st across, turn (8hdc)
  6. ch 1, 1 sc in each st across, tie off leaving a long tail(8sc)


Assembly
now you have a crochet rectangle, sew each pony tail to each of the short ends of the rectangle using the long ends we left, then sew in ends, your finished now you door is shushed :)
