Reflect-a-Danna

Reflect-a-Danna

Need/Need to Know
  • K – hook
  • Red Heart Reflective Yarn 1 roll any color will make 2-3 Reflect-a-Dann's depending on size you making
  • Needle to sew in ends
  • ( ) holds needed info
  • [ ] repeat whats inside
  • sizes are small, medium, and large
  • size measures about 9in, 15in, 21in
  • please measure around your pups neck to insure fit
Gauge
In Double Crochet 7 stitches x 2 rows = 2 inches

Reflect-a-Danna
  1. ch 5 (counts as dc and ch 2 sp), dc in 1st ch made, turn (2dc, 1 ch sp)
  2. ch 5 (counts as dc and ch 2 sp), dc in ch sp, ch 2, dc in dc, turn (3dc, 2 ch sp)
  3. ch 5 (counts as dc and ch 2 sp), [dc in ch sp, ch 2] repeat 1 more time, dc in dc, turn (4dc, 3 ch sp)
  4. ch 5 (counts as dc and ch 2 sp), [dc in ch sp, ch 2] repeat 2 more times, dc in dc, turn (5dc, 4 ch sp)

Reflect a Flower Collar slip on

Reflect a Flower Collar
Using reflective yarn this collar accessory is perfect for those night time walks. To insure you can always see you fur baby! Also with not using much yarn to make this little beauty. Its a great stash buster for all that scrap yarn laying around! Made to fit most collars this will look great on any pet!

Need/Need to Know
  • N and I hook
  • Red Heart Reflective 2 colors and any worsted weight yarn any color
  • Needle to sew in ends
  • ( ) holds number of stitches
  • [ ] repeat whats inside
  • fits collars width from ½ inch to 2 inch
  • if you don't like the magic circle option you can use a chain 2 and crochet into the 2nd ch from hook
  • 1st chain in pattern never counts as 1st st

tr – treble crochet

Flower
using N hook and Reflective yarn
  1. make magic circle, 10 hdc in magic circle, pull tight, join with 1st hdc, change color (10hdc)
  2. [ch 1, hdc, dc, tr dtr, tr, dc, hdc, all in next st, sl st in next st] repeat around, join to 1st hdc tie off (5 petals made up of 1 ch, 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 tr, 1 dtr)

Collar Loop
using I hook and any worsted weight yarn
  1. ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hook, and each st across, turn (4sc)
  2. ch 1 (does not count as sc), 1 sc in each st across, turn (4sc)
  • ½ inch collar widths repeat row 2, 3 more times
  • 1 inch collar widths repeat row 2, 8 more times
  • 1 ½ inch collar widths repeat row 2, 12 more times
  • 2 in collar widths repeat row 2, 16 more times
  1. fold in half and slip stitch both sides together, tie off

  • sew flower to collar loop and sew in ends
  • ready to go! It will be a bit snug at fist going around the collar but it loosen a bit over time

  • V stitch = 1 double crochet, 2 chain's, 1 double crochet all in one stitch
  • Sizes are xxsm(xs,sm,md,lg) and appear in pattern as such
  • Size measurements are 8(10,12,14,16 inches)
  • Please note my sizes may differ then store bought items so please measure around your pups head to insure fit

Fringe Reflect Cowl 4 Pup + size


Fringe Reflect Cowl 4 Pup + sized
Need/Need to Know
  • N-Hook
  • Red Heart Reflective yarn 1 skein
  • Needle to sew in ends
  • ( ) holds number of stitches or need to know info
  • [ ] repeat whats inside
  • Sizes are XL, (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL) and appear in pattern as such
  • Size measurements are ruffly 18( 20, 22, 24, 26 inches)
  • My sizes my differ then store bought items
  • Please measure around your pups head to insure fit
  • sizes xxs - lg can be found HERE

Abbreviations
ch – chain
st(s) – stitch(s)
dc – double crochet

Cowl
  1. ch 32(38,44,50,56), join in 1st ch, ch 2 (does not count as dc), 1 dc in each st around, join to 1st dc (22,26,30,36,40 dc)
  2. ch 2 (does not count as dc), [dc between next 2 dc] repeat around, join to 1st dc (32,38,44,50,56 dc)
  3. repeat row 2
  • repeat row 2 until desired length

Fringe
  • pick what ever side you want to be the bottom this is where we will start the fringe
  • we are going to make the fringe by putting little tassels between each dc
  • we will be putting the tassels on by using a square knot or latch hook technique
  • pick the length of what you want for your fringe and double it, that is how long you want to cut you piece of fringe/tassel , cut as many as you need all the same length, 1 for between each dc

  1. take one piece of already cut yarn, fold it in half, insert your hook between two dc, grab yarn with hook, pull through but not all the way, grab the two ends with hook and pull through loop, pull tight
  2. repeat that until each piece of yarn is in place
  3. now because this is for our pets we want to secure the fringe tightly, so we are going to go around and tie a knot in each tassel/piece of fringe
  • now sew in your one ends at the top and trim the one on the bottom to match the rest of the fringe and your done!
