Anca's Reflection 4 Small Pups


Anca's Reflection 4 Small Pups

Will Need/Need to Know
  • N Hook
  • Red Heart Reflective Yarn 1 skein
  • Needle to sew in ends
  • ( ) holds needed info and number of stitches
  • [ ] repeat whats inside
  • V stitch = 1 double crochet, 2 chain's, 1 double crochet all in one stitch
  • Sizes are xxsm(xs,sm,md,lg) and appear in pattern as such
  • Size measurements are 8(10,12,14,16 inches)
  • Please note my sizes may differ then store bought items so please measure around your pups head to insure fit

Abbreviations
ch – chain
st(s) – stitch(s)
sk – skip
sp – space
dc – double crochet
sl st – slip stitch
vst - v stitch

Gauge
5 dc X 2 rows = 2in
Cowl
  1. ch 20(25,30,35,40), join to 1st ch (20,25,30,35,40 ch's)
  2. ch 5, dc in same st (vst made), sk next 4 sts, [vst in next st, sk next 4 sts] repeat around, join in 3rd ch of 1st 5 (4,5,6,7,8 vst's)
  3. sl st to 1st ch of 1st vst, ch 3 (counts as dc), 4 more dc in same ch sp, [5 dc in next ch sp of next vst] repeat around, join to 1st dc (20,25,30,35,40 dc)
  4. sl st to 3rd dc of 1st group of 5, ch 5, dc in same st (vst made), sk next 4 sts, [vst in next st, sk next 4 sts] repeat around, join to 3rd ch of 1st 5 (4,5,6,7,8 vst's)


Repeat Rows 3 & 4 until desired length , tie off and sew in ends you done!

Shell Stitch Cowl for Pup - Free Pattern


Shell Stitch Cowl
I loved my pup's infinity scarf so much that I just had to try my hand at a cowl. I made it with a basic shell stitch its very simple and fast to work up, but very pretty and stylish.

Need/Need to Know
  • H hook
  • red heart super saver yarn
  • needle to sew in ends
  • 1st chain does not count as 1st stitch unless stated
  • shell stitch = 5 double crochet all in 1 stitch
  • sizes are XXS, (XS, S, M, L) and appear as so
  • measurements are about 10in, (12in, 15in, about 16in, 18in)
Abbreviations
ch- chain
dc- double crochet
st(s)- stitches
sk- skip
sh- shell
sc- single crochet
BLO- back loop only
FLO- front loop only

Cowl
  1. ch 42,(48,60,66,72), join in 1st ch, ch 1, sc in each st around, join to 1st sc (42sc(48,60,66,72))
  2. ch 3 (counts as dc), sk next 2 sts, sh in next st, sk 2 sts, [dc in next st, sk 2 sts, sh in next st, sk next 2 sts (7sh&7dc(8/8,10/10/11/11,12/12))
  3. ch 3 (counts a dc), dc 4 more times in same st (1st shell made),FLO dc in 3rd dc of previous row sh, [sh in dc of previous row, FLO dc in 3rd dc of previous row sh] repeat around, join in 1st ch 3 (7sh&7dc(8/8,10/10,11/11,12/12))

  • XXS tie off

Now sew in all your ends and your ready to have a stylish pup!

Crochet Infinity Scarf for Pup- Free Pattern 5 sizes

Infinity Scarf for Pup
Does your pup like to by stylish? Mine does so I made this infinity scarf for her so she could wear something pretty whenever wherever, and I think I pulled it off. Also don't worry there is instructions on how to make it safe for you pup. Hope you like it as much as my pup does!

Sizes
  • xxs- xs = 12in
  • sm = 14in
  • med = 16in
  • lrg = 18in
  • in pattern XXS & XS are the same and stitch count changes will appear like this XS(SM, MED, LRG) XS being the same as XXS

Need/ Need to know
  • J hook
  • 2 colors red heart super saver
  • sewing needle to sew in ends
  • 1st chain does not count as 1st stitch

Gauge
in hdc 7 stiches x 4 rows = 2in

Abbreviations
ch- chain
hdc- half double crochet
st- stitch

Scarf
  1. ch 85(92,99,106), hdc in 2nd ch from hook and each st across, change color, turn (84 hdc(91,98,105)
  2. ch 1, hdc in each st across, change color, turn (84 hdc(91,98,105)
  3. ch 1, hdc in each st across, tie off

Assembly
1st you want to lay out your infinity scarf like an upside down breast cancer ribbon like shown in the picture below

next you want to take your two lose ends and place them together like the photo below
and sew those two ends together, now fold it into the infinity scarf and to make it safe for your pup so they don't step on the one end and tighten the other and in turn choke themselves we are going to sew the back together as shown in picture below
sew in all your ends and your finished! Hope your pup enjoys and happy hooking!
