Collar Flower 4 Pets


Pin Flower Applique
This is a slip on flower to slip on most size dog collars 
Will Need/Need to Know
  • I hook
  • Red Heart w/Love in 2 colors
  • Needle to sew in ends
  • ( ) holds needed info and number of stitches
  • picot = chain 3, sl st into 1st ch
  • for collars widths ½ inch to 2 inch
  • gauge is 8 stitches x 8 rows in single crochet = 2 in

Abbreviations
st(s) – stitch(s)
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
picot – picot

Petal make 6
  1. in color A, ch 7, hdc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next st, 1 dc in each of the next 2 sts, hdc in next st, 3 hdc in last st, rotate to other side of chain, hdc in next st, 1 dc in each of the next 2 sts, hdc in next st, 2 hdc in last st, join to 1st hdc and change to color B (14 sts)
  2. ch 1 (does not count as 1st st), turn, 1 sc in each of the next 5 sts, 1 hdc in next st, hdc and dc in next st, picot, dc and hdc in next st, hdc in next st, 1 sc in each of the next 5 sts, ch 1, join to 1st sc, tie off (16 sts and 1 picot)
sewing your flower petals together
  • sew in all ends to petals except the color B one closes to the edge/bottom see picture number 1
  • use the color B end to sew a small line into the petal and also use them to sew the 3 petal bottoms together see picture number 2
  • sew last 3 petals on one between each petal of the ones already sewn together see picture 3
  • and done ! See piture 4

Collar Loop
  1. ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hook, and each st across, turn (4sc)
  2. ch 1 (does not count as sc), 1 sc in each st across, turn (4sc)
  • ½ inch collar widths repeat row 2, 3 more times
  • 1 inch collar widths repeat row 2, 8 more times
  • 1 ½ inch collar widths repeat row 2, 12 more times
  • 2 in collar widths repeat row 2, 16 more times
  1. fold in half and slip stitch both sides together, tie off


  • sew flower to collar loop and sew in ends
  • ready to go! It will be a bit snug at fist going around the collar but it loosen a bit over time

Crochet Frankenstein Cowl for Pup with or without Hood 6 sizes!

Frankenstein Cowl For Pup with or with out Hood 6 sizes!


I made this because I have been thinking about Halloween. It's just behind the corner! I have a ton of costume ideas and have not been able to settle on one. Until I saw this beautiful scoodie someone had posted in one of the groups I follow and I immediately started thinking about a Frankenstein version would be super cute but I'm not one to dress up so I then started thinking about how I could make it for my pup and the Frankenstein cowl was born. Hope you enjoy!


Will Need/Need to Know

  • I hook
  • G hook
  • Caron Simply soft in green (I use pistachio), black, and gray
  • needle to sew in end and make stitches
  • 1st chain(s) do not count a 1st stitch
  • don not turn unless stated
  • [ ] repeat instructions inside [ ]
  • magic circle can be replaced with a chain 2, and then crocheting into the 2nd chain from the hook
  • sizes may very from every day pet stores please measure your pup and make accordingly
  • sizes are XXS(XS,S,M,L,XL) and appear in pattern as so
  • finished measurements are 10in(12,14,16.18,20) around

Gauge
in double crochet 8 stitches X 4 rows = 2in
  1. ch 10, dc in 2nd ch from hook and each st across, turn (8dc)
  2. ch 2, dc in each st across, turn (8dc)
  • repeat row 2, 2 more times, tie off
  • you now have a 2in X 2in square

Mouse Plush or Refillable Cat Nip Toy


I made this little guy because my cat loves loves loves cat nip, and all those cat nip toys get spendy! Also he doesn't seem to like any of the refillable toys our local (by local I mean 30 min away) Walmart. So I went to work on this cute mouse, and I am very happy with the results hope you are too! :)

Will Need/Need to Know
  • G hook
  • red heart super saver yarn
  • needle to sew in ends and sew together
  • fiber fill or cat nip
  • button (optional)
  • safety eyes (optional)
  • [ ] - repeat whats inside
  • 1st chain does not count as 1st stitch
  • magic circle can be replaced with a chain 2, then crocheting the number of stitches necessary in the 2nd chain from the hook

Assembly
  • before we go on please remember if this item is for a child or a cat to securely sew/attach all pieces tightly
  • attach or sew on eyes on flat part of head
  • attach ears to either side of the head
  • attach nose to tip of muzzle
  • stuff head and body with fiber fill if for plush
  • if for plush sew head to body and sew in all ends and your done enjoy, if for cat nip toy go on
  • on opening in head connect by muzzle ch 4, sl st back into same st button hole made
  • sew button to bottom of body by opening
  • sew top half of head to body and leave a small opening for putting cat nip in like in picture at bottom
  • sew in all ends

Note: my measurements may differ then store bought items please measure your dog to find the best size for your pup

5 rows of vsts = 3 in

  1. ch 15, dc in 6th ch from hook (1st vst made), [sk 2sts, v st in next st] repeat across, turn (4 v sts)
  2. sl st into ch 2 sp, ch 5, dc in same ch 2 sp (1st v st), [v st in next ch 2 sp] repeat across, turn (4 v sts)
  3. repeat 2

  5. repeat 2 tie off now you should have about a 3in by 3in square

sweater XXS ONLY

MandaLynn's Chihuahua Angel Wing Pinafore Dress

Inspired by and guid lines by Maxine Gonser's Angel Wing Newborn Pinafore

i used an H hook and carron simply soft yarn and plz feel free to do what you want with the finished product but do not sell the pattern and i can not speak for Maxine Gonser's Pattern Just the doggy dress thank you !!!

Stitches used 

ch- chain
sc- single crochet
dc-dubble crochet
slst- slip stitch
st(s)-stitch(s)
shell- 2dc,ch2,2dc in same stitch

rows

1) ch 32 sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across for 31 sc turn
2) ch 3 (counts as first dc) dc in each of the next 2 sts  *2 dc in next st, dc in each of the next 3 sts repeat from *across (38 dc) turn
3) ch 3 (counts as first dc) dc in each of the next 3 sts *2 dc in next st, dc in each of the next 4 sts repeat from * 6 times dc in each remaining sts (44 dc) turn
4) ch 3 (counts as first dc) dc in each of the next 3 sts *2dc in next st, dc in each of the next 4 sts repeat from *across (52 dc) turn

now we will be working in rounds and joining each round from here to end

we will now begin to work in rows again as we have to give space in the underbelly so it doesnt get pee'd on he..he..he...
13) find the center shell of the opening or the one we joined and tied off in row 12 count 4 shells on each side  4shells on right + center shell + 4shells on left = 9 shells this 9 shells will be the belly gap join your yarn in the 5th shell on what ever side you prefer ch 3 (counts as our fist dc) 1dc ch2 2dc in same shell as we joined in, shell in the next 12 shells for a total of 13 shells turn
14-18) ch 1 slst into next st, ch 3 (counts as our fist dc) 1dc ch2 2dc in ch2 space to make first shell, shell in the next 12 shells for 13 shells turn after row 18 tie off leaving longer tail t sew in

one last round

19) pick a spot between one of the shells to join in ch 1 (counts as first sc) *5 dc in first shell, sc between shells repeat from * until you come to the side and using your best judgement continue the 5dc , 1sc on the side until you get to the underbelly then repeat from * until you come to the side again and using your best judgement continue the 5dc , 1sc on the side until you get to the top again and repeat from the * until you get to your first sc and use a slst to join tie off leaving a longer tail to sew in

now just sew on a button to close the opening with and sew in all your tail and your done happy crocheting!!!

Candy Corn XS Dog Costume 

I made this for my chihuahua for Halloween this year and thought i would share the pattern i came up with plz feel free to sell or use finished projects as you would like but do not sell the pattern plz and thank you, the whole costume is my design but the bow tie is not that can be found on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hcxz3r9VZoQ

Key/Abbreviations/Materials 
You will need a size I crochet hook
white orange and yellow yarn
ch- chain
sl st- slip stitch
dc- dubble crochet
st(s)- stitch(s)
sc- single crochet

row 1: with white ch 35 connect with sl st in first ch to make a circle ch3 (counts as fist dc) and dc 1 in each st around for 35 dc around and join with a sl st in top of ch 3

row 2-3: ch 3 (counts as first dc) dc 1 in each st around (35 dc) and sl st to join in top ch of first ch 3 tie off (this is the middle chest piece) 

row 4: join orange in same white dc we just tied off ch 3 (counts as first dc) and dc in each st around (35 dc) join with sl st in top of ch 3

row 5-7: *ch 3 (counts as first dc) dc in the next 7 sts for a total of 8 dc and turn repeat from * 2 more times for a total of 3 rows tie off

row 8-10: join orange in 6th st from the 3 rows of 8 so there is a 5 st gap *ch 3 (counts as first dc) and dc in the next 18 sts for a total of 19dc repeat from * 2 more times

row 11: ch 3 (counts as first dc) dc in the next 18 sts for 19 dc ch 6 to go over the gap/leg hole to connect to middle chest piece and dc in each of those 8 sts ch 6 and join with a sl st in dc on other side of second gap/leg hole 

row 12: ch 3 (counts as first dc) 1 dc in each st until you come to the ch 6 across the gap/leg hole now dc 7 around that ch 6 when you come to the middle chest piece dc 8 in each st till next gap/leg hole then dc 7 around the ch's and sl st in top ch in first ch 3

row 13-15: ch 3 (counts as first dc) 1 dc in each st around sl st in top of first ch 3 tie off after row 15

row 16: 4 sts from the one we tied off at more toward the belly area is were we are going to connect with orange again ch 3 (counts as first dc) dc 1 in each of the next 37 sts for 38 dc do not join or tie off

row 17: turn ch 3 (counts as first dc) dc 1 in the next 37 sts for 38 dc tie off

row 18-23:  connect yellow in same dc as we tied off in *ch 3 (counts as first dc) dc dec across next two sts dc 1 in each st until last 3 sts dc dec across next two sts dc 1 in last st turn repeat from * tie off after row 23 

row 24: connect with yellow on side of first yellow dc in the inside by chest piece ch 4 (counts as first tc) make 6 tc around each of the sides of the yellow dc for a total of 6 times make 3 tc in top of each dc st across until side then make 6 tc in each of the side yellow dc again tie off when done

now to make the collar on top go to the top of the project and with white connect on top of the with part of costume and leave two dc in the middle open sc around till the last two you left open in the middle turn ch 3 (counts as first dc) dc in the next 2 sts then 2 dc in next st, *dc 1 in next 3 st 2 dc in next st repeat form * until end tie off fold town and sew in all your ends and your done :)

to make the bow tie all i did was ch 35 connect in first ch to make circle and tie off leaving long ch to tie around bow follow the youtube video up top for bow and use long tale on ch circle to make middle part of bow and to tie onto ch circle then just put the bow under the collar of costume now  your puppy is ready for trick or treating :) happy crocheting!
